Rich is a Vice President – Regional Director at Empire Valuation Consultants, where he has worked since 2010.

 

He has over 30 years of experience in the estate and trust industry and is responsible for furthering the development of Empire’s valuation services in trust, estate, private equity and hedge funds. He also lectures on various topics including estate planning, sales and marketing.

 

Rich’s experience includes the administration of complex closely held assets and the implementation of sophisticated planning structures for bank clients. These client businesses encompass industries such as manufacturing and distribution, publishing, construction, transportation and retail chains, to name a few.

 

Prior to joining Empire, Rich served as a senior trust officer and vice president at U.S. Trust Company and Deutsche Bank, where he worked in the New York and Florida markets. He was also an advisor to the board of a manufacturing business with over $150MM in annual sales.

Pamela A. Michaels, Esq. is an attorney and has acted as Senior Vice President of Asset Preservation, Inc. since 2004. Pamela specializes in guiding attorneys, CPAs, investors, financial advisors and other real estate professionals through the regulations and requirements of IRC §1031. Pamela dedicates a significant portion of her time to providing practical presentations to accountants, attorneys, real estate brokers and investors throughout New York and the Northeast featuring real-life exchange scenarios to illustrate a wide range of investment and tax strategies.

 

Prior to joining Asset Preservation, Inc., Pamela served as an executive and general counsel to diverse financial organizations and real estate companies. Pamela became known early in her career for her work out strategies in the commercial sector and was successful in assisting a number of financial institutions resolve their non-performing real estate portfolios during the S&L crisis. Pamela has a strong background in the operational, financial and legal aspects of real estate, including real estate acquisitions, financing, construction and sales.
